Just started a new job managing company socials, need help streamlining

Yosemithe

Took a new gig and one of my main responsibilities is running the company's social media accounts. Honestly didn't realize how much of a time sink it would be constantly watching the clock to post on this platform, then that one, then the next. Feels like I'm glued to a posting schedule all day instead of actually focusing on the content itself. Anyone know a way to make this less of a headache?

Totally feel that, juggling multiple platforms manually is a nightmare once you're handling more than one or two accounts. The move most social media managers make is switching to a scheduling tool that lets you queue everything up in advance and forget about it. Hootsuite and Buffer are the usual go-to names, both let you plan out posts across platforms from one dashboard. The real game changer though is batching your content, sit down once or twice a week, prep everything, schedule it out and you're done instead of being on call all day.

Batching content only gets you so far if you're still logging into each platform separately to publish. The next level is having everything go out from one place at the same time without any extra steps. There's a tool built specifically for that kind of workflow that lets you post to all social media at once: https://adaptlypost.com/features/multi-posting . Cuts out a huge chunk of the back and forth and lets you actually focus on what you're putting out rather than where and when.
