I recently went through the online application process for my NBI Clearance and wanted to share a practical guide that might help others save time and avoid stress.

Here is a simple step-by-step overview of the process:

Online Registration: Go to the official NBI Clearance website and create an account. Make sure all your personal details match your valid IDs perfectly.

Schedule an Appointment: Choose your nearest NBI branch and pick an available date and time slot. Tip: Early morning slots are usually best to avoid long waits.

Pay the Fee: You can pay the fee (around ₱130 plus service charge) online via GCash, Maya, or at various payment centers like Bayad Center and 7-Eleven. Keep your reference number!

Visit the Branch: On your appointment day, bring your reference number and two (2) valid government-issued IDs. Your photo and fingerprints will be taken. If there's no 'hit', your clearance is usually released within minutes.

Renewal: If you have an NBI clearance issued after 2014, you can opt for the online renewal and have it delivered to your doorstep.
