Ferrari 812 Superfast hesitates when I pull away, who should check it?
I have a small problem with my car and I am not sure who to ask, so I thought I would try here. I have a 2019 Ferrari 812 Superfast and I drive it on weekends and for some evening trips with friends. For about two weeks now, when I pull away from a stop, the car waits for a moment and then pushes forward with a small bump. It happens more when the car is warm, like after a long drive in the afternoon. On the highway it feels perfect, so I kept telling myself it was nothing. My wife says she can feel it too, mostly when we leave a parking spot. My friend has an older F12 and he said it could be a software problem or the gearbox oil getting old. My cousin thinks it is just how these cars feel and I should stop worrying. I did not know who to believe, so one night I read about it online. I opened a page about Ferrari cars on a Sharjah website to learn how the gearbox, the clutches and the computer work together. It said a small hesitation can be an early sign, and that a scan is the best first step before anyone opens anything. That made me feel calmer. Then a coworker told me to look for a Top Ferrari transmission workshop in Al Qusais Industrial Area 5 and ask them to show me the fault codes and the clutch numbers on paper. He said a good place will explain the problem in easy words and will not rush me into a big repair. I liked that advice because these cars are not cheap to fix. So I have some questions. Is a small hesitation when pulling away usually software, or can it be the clutch? Is it safe to keep driving on weekends until it is checked? Should I ask for a scan and an oil check before agreeing to any work? And about how long does a first check take, and what is a fair price? If you had the same thing on your 812, F12 or another Ferrari, please tell me what it was and about how much you paid visit here https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/ferrari. Thanks a lot.
